Subtle ribbons of deep auburn and charcoal wood grain peer through the dark, espresso-toned surface. Outfitted with a premium chrome pocket clip, this model pairs the organic warmth of fine hardwood with a clean, functional edge. To ensure maximum durability and comfort during long writing sessions, it is designed with a sleek, high-gloss solid black grip section that creates a striking, modern contrast against the natural matte timber of the cap and barrel.

About the Wood: Cocobolo

Cocobolo is a rare and highly prized exotic hardwood native to Central America, belonging to the rosewood family (Dalbergia). Renowned for its incredible density and rich natural oils, it features a spectacular range of colors, shifting over time from warm oranges and deep reds to dark, silken browns with jet-black striping. Because of its hardness and oily nature, Cocobolo is notoriously challenging to turn and glue, requiring immense patience, razor-sharp lathe tools, and a master touch to finish perfectly without dulling its vibrant character. It is a true heirloom wood that naturally darkens and develops a rich, personal patina the more it is held and used.
